  • Initial operation requires a hot tap
  • Team's SealTite fitting is welded or bolted to the pipe
  • The fitting is pressure tested
  • The valve is installed
  • A hot tap is made on the pipe through the valve
  • The coupon is retained by U-wires on the pilot drill
  • The hot tap machine and coupon are removed
  • The valve is closed
  • A sealing element is selected for compatibility based on the process, pressure and temperature
  • The line stop machine is attached to the valve
  • The line stop head seals and isolates the section of pipe
  • Line Pressure is required and the line stop head is retracted
  • The SealTite completion plug is set and locked into place with jackbolts
  • Valve is removed enabling re-entry at a future date
  • Blind flange is installed

  • Ideal for non-functioning valves on tanks and vessels
  • Special machine is installed to an existing valve
  • The damaged valve is removed anda new valve installed
  • The special machine is removed
  • When clearance limitation will not allow normal line stopping methods
  • A SealTite fitting is welded to the header and a valve installed
  • A hot tap is made and the plug is set
  • When the repairs are complete the sealtite completion plug is set
  • A special SealTite fitting is installed to the elbow
  • An angle tap is performed on the elbow through a temporary valve
  • The line stop is set and the defective valve replaced
  • Team's SealTite completion plug is set and the temporary valve removed
  • A special SealTite fitting is installed to the backside of the Tee
  • A temporary valve is installed and a hot tap performed
  • The line stop plug passes through the Tee and is set into the outlet
  • The SealTite completion plug is set and the temporary valve removed

  • Two SealTite fittings are welded to the line
  • Temporary valves are installed and two line stop taps completed
  • The two line stops are set and the pressure vented
  • The work between the two line stops is completed
  • The line stops are equalized and removed
  • Team SealTite completion plugs are set and the temporary valves removed

  • Two SealTite fittings are welded to the line

  • Temporary valves are installed and two line stop taps completed

  • The two line stops are set and the pressure vented downstream of both line stops

  • The primary line stop holds the pressure while the secondary line stop ensures a 100% safe seal.

  • The work downstream is completed

  • The line stops are equalized and removed

  • Team Sealtite completion plugs are set and the temporary valves removed
